Marriage Events

• Marriage: The Mt. Sterling Advocate, 15 Sep 1909. MAUPIN-BECRAFT.
Daniel Maupin, of Salt Lick, and Miss Anna Becraft, of this city, were married on Wednesday evening at the home of Wm. Becraft, Street Commissioner. They left on night express for the groom's home.

• Marriage: The Mt. Sterling Avocate, 15 Sep 1909. On Wednesday evening, September 8, 1909, Miss Anna Becraft, of this city, and Mr. Daniel Maupin, of Salt Lick, Ky., were joined in holy bonds of matrimony. At the home of the bride, friends began to gather about seven o'clock, and by the time of the marriage hour, eight o'clck, nearly two hundred persons were present, among whom was Rev. N.C. Carpente, of Owingsville, who performed the marriage ceremony. The bride is one of the dearest girls of our city and especially is she dear to those who are intimately acquainted with her, and to those who live in the eastern part of the city. She is beautiful, kind, loving and industrious. The groom is one of Salt Lick's finest young men. It can certainly be said that "Faithful Daniel" is worth of commendation. Many beautiful flowers were presented, friends were gay, band music was excellent, and in fact this was "A beautiful wedding."
