Born Nov. 21, 1900, in West Friendship, he was the son of the late Harry and Annie Franciss Dorsey. He was a member of Emmarts United Methodist Church, Woodlawn.
Surviving are his wife Alma Becraft Dorsey of Sykesville; son Oden L. Dorsey Jr. of Ellicott City; daughters Charlotte A. Brant of Hampstead, and A. LaRue Anderson of Catonsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
