• His obituary was published. Albert Becraft, 71, of Greenfield died Oct. 18, 2002. Born Dec. 30, 1930, in Hancock County, he was the son of Albert and Maude (Greenstreet) Becraft.
He had been employed with Indiana Knitwear in Greenfield for 50 years, retiring in 1998 at the manager in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of American Legion Post #119, a graduate of Greenfield High School and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife Betty (Spegal) Becraft, whom he married July 1, 1950; son Mark Becraft of Greenfield; daughters Cathy Becraft of Greenfield and Karen Carr of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters Helen Brusseau of Anderson and Ethel Judd of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Ruby Lowder and Dorothy Becraft.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pasco Memorial Mortuary in Greenfield with the Rev. William Beauchatt officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She is survived by three children, Mark A. (Gae) Becraft of Greenfield, Cathy A. Becraft of Greenfield, Karen L. (Robert) Carr of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters Anna Spegal and Helen Shadley, both of Greenfield; six grandchildren, Clint, Jennifer, Derek, Matthew, Dylan and Kaylan; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Becraft; sisters Dorothy Holliday, Virginia Willard, Lorna Kleine and Patty Spegal; and brothers Carl, Jim and Paul Spegal.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield with the Rev. William Beauchat officiating. burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at the funeral home.
