General Notes: Husband - William Albert Beacraft



William was the son of George and Eliza Huyck Beacraft. Although born in MI, he spent much of his early life in Ontario Canada.

He married Ella J. Wild. They had one child. He was widowed and on Dec. 25, 1883, he married Addie Switzer.

He and his wife lived in MI and IL. He worked as a shoemaker, a travel agent and a carpenter.

About 1905, they settled in Tacoma WA. He continued working as a carpenter until his death at the age of 58 years 11 months 21 days.

Addie, as she was called much of her life, was the daughter of Christopher and Matilda Switzer of Ontario Canada.

On Dec. 25, 1883 she married a widower, William Beacraft. They immigrated to the US in 1884. They had one child, Raymond in 1887, who died four months after his birth.

They lived in MI and IL before moving to Pierce County WA around 1905.

Addie was widowed in 1917. She died at the age of 84 years 9 months 20 days.
