WARNERVILLE - Mrs. Thelma E. Jackson, 62, of Warnerville, died Saturday at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady after a long illness.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Central Bridge and attended Cobleskill Central Schools. She was a lifelong resident of Warnerville.

For many years, she worked as a nurse's aide at the former Lela Brown Rest Home and the former Jackson Rest Home, both in Cobleskill.

Later, Mrs. Jackson provided in-home care to the elderly in the Cobleskill and Warnerville areas.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cobleskill.

Survivors include her husband, William Jackson, whom she married June 14, 1955; four sons, John Jackson, David Jackson, Daniel Jackson, and Michael Jackson, all of Cobleskill; a daughter, Lynn Lesinski of Cobleskill; three brothers, Walter Beacraft of Sharon Springs, Les Beacraft of Beaumont, Texas, and Palmer Beacraft of Worcester; a sister, Carrie Stone of Beaumont; and six grandchildren.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Lappeus Funeral Home, 32 Park St., Sharon Springs. Burial will be at a later date in Lawyersville Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Richmondville Volunteer Emergency Squad, Richmondville 12149.
