COBLESKILL - Miss Sandra Lee Beacraft, 38, of Division Stree, died Saturday at Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County, Cobleskill, after a long illness.

Born in Cobleskill, Miss Beacraft was a 1979 grduate of Cobleskill Central School and recently earned an associate's degree from SUNY Cobleskill, where she graduated with honors.

She had worked as a library clerk at the Community Library of Cobleskill for the past several years. She was the editor of the library's quarterl newsletter and was a member of the "Chat & Chew" library reading group.

Miss Beacraft was a published writer.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cobleskill.

Survivors include her father, Palmer Beacraft of East Worcester; a sister, Mary Wall of Fort Plain; and her longtime companion Michael Breglia of Cobleskill.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist church, Main Street.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 68 Elm St.

Burial will be in Lawyersville Cemetery, Lawyersville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Library, Union Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
