Don Merwin Sherwood 44, of Clinton, Arkansas died Friday, May 28, 2010 in a car accident in Clinton, Arkansas. Don was born May 21, 1966 in Conway, Arkansas to Milton Ray and Helen (Becraft) Sherwood.
He is survived by his three beautiful children, Jeffrey Don, Sarah Kathrine and Austin Ross Sherwood and his life partner Tammy Crump all of Clinton; parents Milton Ray and Helen (Becraft) Sherwood of Conway; sister-in-law Elaine Wallace and husband James of Bay City, Texas; a sister Ruth Porter and husband Lanny of Orem, Utah; brothers Paul Sherwood and wife Shauna of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Stan Sherwood and wife Sue of Conway, Arkansas; honorary sisters Myssy Hartley and DJ Ripley; honorary mom NaNa Bradshaw; and numerous family members and dear friends he greatly loved.
Don is preceded in death by his sister Connie Rae Sherwood; brother Karl Milton Sherwood; and his best friend Jeff Weller.
Don was a loving father who did everything for his kids. They were his world. He loved spending time with them and caring for their every want and need. He also loved shooting guns, painting and camping and playing with his kids and Tammy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and felt of his kind and gentle heart.
Pallbearers: Jeff Sherwood, Austin Sherwood, Grey Hartley, Shawn Hartley, Curtis Ripley, Stuart Ripley and Terry McAvaney.
Graveside Service and Burial will be 11:00am Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Rose Bud Cemetery at Highway 36 in Rose Bud, Arkansas with Bishop Ron Tillman of the Quitman Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating.
