TRENTON -- Creed T. Pruitt, 27, of Trenton, died of cancer on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at Middletown Regional Hospital. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, on Dec. 21, 1971, he was the son of Roger Pruitt Sr. and Dana Adams Pruitt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War. Mr. Pruitt was employed as a line technician for Warner Cable Co. Surviving are his wife, Wendy Ann Kleinsmith Pruitt of Trenton; his mother, Dana Pruitt of Trenton; a son, Creed Ren Pruitt of Trenton; two daughters, Hailey Rachel Pruitt and Kaitlyn Ann Pruitt, both of Trenton; two brothers, Roger Lee Pruitt II of Trenton and Wayne Rhodes of Hamilton; two sisters, Tonya Clemmons and Shawna Joseph, both of Hamilton; his grandparents, Hobert and Betty Antrican Adams and James A. and Rose Cobb Beacraft; aunts Lisa and Darrell Crowe and April Adams; an uncle, Philip David and Sue Keith Adams; and cousins Jeff and Lorie Adams and Justin Crowe. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Pruitt Sr., on Feb. 11, 1994.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Butler County Memorial Park Chapel in Wayne Township, with the Rev. Charles Denny officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Madison Township Life Squad, P.O. Box 1069, Middletown, 45042; or the Trenton Rescue Squad, 105 S. Miami, Trenton, 45067. Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home in Middletown is handling arrangements.
