General Notes: Husband - Frederick James Utting
Surveyor and civil Engineer of Auckland, Frederic Utting was born in Norfolk and emigrated to New Zealand on the Red Jacket in 1860 with his eldest sons, and his wife and other children followed in 1863.
Frederic was a member of the first Unitarian Church in Auckland.
In 1866 he and his wife settled in Albertland, a non-conformist religious settlement.
Frederic died in January 1882, the newspapers reporting his death as taking place on 6 January.

General Notes: Wife - Ann Peek
Ann Peek was born in Norfolk and was the second wife of Frederic James Utting. The family emigrated to New Zealand, with Ann arriving 3 years after her husband via the Bombay in 1863.
Her husband was a civil engineer and surveyor in Auckland.
They moved to Albertland in 1866 where they resided until their death.
The cemetery record notes B M Gubb, her son in law, as making arrangements for the burial. She died in 1894 at the age of 75
