• Her obituary was published. Mrs. Fannie E. Mullinix, 82, widow of James A. Mullinix, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her son, Millard F. Mullinix, near Long Corner. She was a daughter of the late Andrew D. and Susan J. Mullinix and was a member of Howard Chapel Methodist church, Long Corner, and the Long Corner Council, No. 64, Daughters of Ameria.
Surviving are four sons; Millard F.; J. Hebert, near Long Corner; M. Sherman, Poplar Springs; R. Amos, Woodstock, and N. Ellsworth Mullinix, Kemptown; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Burdette, near Mt. Airy, and Mrs. Eddie Hardy, Poplar Springs; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body is at the funeral home in Damascus. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Howard Chapel Methodist church, Long Corner. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Olin L. Molesworth, funeral director.
