Beulah May Mills, 77, a Laurel homemaker, died at her home on Oct. 1, 1988, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Mills had suffered for several years with arthritis, cancer, heart desease and Alzheimer's disease.

Born on Jun 18, 1911, in Scaggsville, Mrs. Mills worked in the Laurel Junior High School cafeteria during the early 1960s.

Randolph, her husband, crowned her Queen of Love and Beauty at the annual Maryland Jousts on several occasions.

Services were held at Donaldson Funeral Home on Oct 3 with the Rev. hall officiating. Burial followed in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood.

Mrs. Mills was preceeded in death by her parents, William and Addie Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Randolph Cademy Mills; one daughter, Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Mills; two sisters, Cory Murphy of Baltimore and Mildred Johnston of Delaware; and three brothers, Melvin and William Murphy of Laurel and Clifton Murphy of Odenton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Human Society, 14645 Rothglebe Drive, Rockville, MD.
