Born November 3, 1930 to the late Elbert Edgar and Beatrice Andrews Kincer. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 39 years, Leona Kegley Kincer; second wife of 17 years, Evelyn Bell Kincer; two brothers, John Trent Kincer, Ralph Edward Kincer; sister, Genevieve Walters; son, Eddie Trent Kincer.

Odel was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He attended Family Worship Center-First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by two step-daughters and spouses, Doris & Danny Layne of Wytheville, Shawn & Gray Turman of Clayton, NC, and other extended family members also survive.
