• His funeral was held The Californian (Salinas, California) on 3 Feb 1932. Services In San Jose For Peter Jorgensen
- With a large number of friends in attendance funeral services were conducted this afternoon in the parlors of Hocking & Williams East Santa Clara and Eighth streets, San Jose, for the late Peter Jorgensen, father of Superior Judge H. G. Jorgensen of this city. A native of Denmark, aged 81, the deceased closed a long and useful earthly career in that city last Monday. In addition to Judge Jorgensen he is survived by three other children and numerous grandchildren. He was the father of Mrs. Alfred Moore of San Mateo, Mrs. H. L. Beecroft of Los Gatos and Mrs. W. L. Martin of Fresno.
Following the services this afternoon the remains were placed at rest in Oak Hill cemetery, near San Jose.
