• His obituary was published. Dr. William "Bill" Carl Jennette, Jr., 79, of Westminster passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home.

He was born on May 18, 1937 in Westminster, and was the son of the late William Carl and Mildred Ellen (nee BeCraft) Jennette, Sr. He was the loving husband of 52 years to Cynthia G. Jennette, whom he married in 1964.

Bill grew up in Carroll County and was a graduate of Westminster High School class of 1955. He was a graduate of Wake Forest University, as well as University of Maryland obtaining his Doctorate Degree in Dentistry. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1963-1968.

Bill was a local dentist and owned his own practice for 34 years, retiring in 2000. He was passionate with his career and fond of his patients. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Chapel. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and skeet and trap shooting. He was artistic and enjoyed doing projects which were created by his hands; including painting, wood working, even building his own boat.

In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters Tracey Lynn Jennette Garcia and Elizabeth Erin Jennette Loadholtz and husband Mitch; sister Carol Jennette Shook and husband Ken; and grandchildren Jennifer Leigh Garcia, Christopher Raymond Garcia, Sophia Grace Loadholtz, and Alexander Harley Loadholtz; and a niece and nephew.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 11- 12pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster, where a Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. officiated by his pastor Ralf Nies. Interment will be private.
