"Arthur S. Hathaway, 63, of 1407 Fifteenth street, resident of Port Huron 34 years, died early this morning in the family residence after a long illness. Mr. Hathaway formerly owned and operated a Military street barber shop. He was born in Capac, Aug. 20, 1884. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Hathaway; two daughters, Mrs. Philip Buckley, Port Huron, and Mrs. Wellington B. Osmun, Pontiac; three grand children and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Arthur Smith funeral home. Rev. David T. Jordan, pastor of Griswold Street Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Capac Cemetery."

Hathaway, 63, of 1407 Fifteenth street, who died Saturday in his home, were held today in the Arthur Smith funeral home. Rev. David T. Jordan, pastor of Griswold Street Baptist church, officiated. Burial was in Capac Cemetery. Edward Clouse, Clinton S. Clouse, Fran H. Dell, Earl Dell, Jule C. Dell and Harrey E. Bonney, all of Port Huron, were pallbearers."
