Grace M. Stutler, 81, of Versailles, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at St. Andrews in Batesville. She was born March 26, 1928 in Frenchburg, KY, the daughter of Robert and Laura (Becraft) Goodpaster. She married Ernest L. Stutler on March 2, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 21, 2008.
Survivors include son, Dennis (Valerie) Stutler of Batesville; daughter, Colleen (Curtis) Moore of Nashville; brother, Willie Goodpaster of Hamilton, OH; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and sister, Anna Hostetler.
Mrs. Stutler was a member of the Milan Baptist Church and also belonged to the church choir. She worked at the Milan Elementary School cafeteria, and also worked at Seagrams.
Funeral services are being held today, Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan, with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will be at the New Cravens Cemetery in Milan. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer Association. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan is in charge of arrangements.
