Passed away Tuesday February 15, 2005 in Kalamazoo. Charlotte was born December 30, 1919 in Dowagiac, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur and Lucy (Becraft) Frazee. She was a resident of Grosse Pointe Farms, Bridgman and Kalamazoo. She had received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Michigan, an institution of which she was very fond and an avid supporter. For 24 years she taught school with the Detroit Public School System. Charlotte loved to play bridge and golf but the most important part of her life was her grandchildren. In 1948 she was united in marriage to William F. Cody who preceded her in death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eudora Snyder. Surviving are her daughter and son, Fran (Bob) Taylor of Kalamazoo, Bill (Sandy) Cody of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Jamie (Chrissy) Taylor, Drew Taylor, Andrew Cody and Amanda Cody; and a lifelong friend who was like a sister to her, Gertrude Jurgensen of Magician Lake. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials in Charlotte's memory may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, Kalamazoo.
