Charles Carr
Charles Washington Carr, 94, of Westminster, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, at Westminster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
He was the husband of the late Mary BeCraft Carr and later married to Eva
Totten Carr.
He was born December 10, 1909, in Winfield, the son of the late Marshall G. Carr and late Gertrude Frizzell Carr.
He was retired from being a truck driver and most recently had worked at
McDonald's in Westminster. He was a member of The Church of the Open Door in Westminster.
He is survived by daughter Patricia Ann Whitman of Sykesville, daughter Wanda Lee Rodriguez of Reisterstown, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Shirley Reaver.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., Winfield, with the Rev. John Campbell of the Church of the Open Door officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy.

• Her obituary was published. Born April 3, 1916, in Renick, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late DeSota Totten and O'Mega Hanna Totten. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Carr.
She was a homemaker and surviving are daughter Betty Jo and husband Gus Dittmar, of Hanover, Pa.; son James Preston and wife Nancy Persinger, of Hanover; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Velma Jean Lawless; and brothers Millard, Robert and William Totten.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster.
