Della Bernice Becraft

Della Bernice Becraft, 87, of Hill Street, Mt. Airy, died Mon., Nov. 6, 1978 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Gilmore A. Becraft.

Born in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late George and Jennie Lowe Gartrell. Mrs. Becraft was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Mt. Airy and the auxiliary of the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are a son, Earl L. Becraft of Sandy Springs; a daughter, Miss Ruthe I. Becraft of Mt. Airy; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rippeon of Johnsville, Mrs. Florence Keefer of Sykesville and Mrs. Dora Wilson of Mt. View, Calif.; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grand-children; and a greatgreat-grand-chold.

Funeral was held from the Calvary United Mehtodist Church, Mt. Airy. The Rev. John E. Ewald, pastor of the church officiated.

Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mr. Airy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Della Bernice Becraft, Hill Street, Mount Airy, who died Monday, Nov. 6, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, from the Calvary United Methodist Church, Mount Airy. The Rev. John E. Ewald officiated. Mrs. Becraft was the wife of the late Gilmore A. Becraft. Bearers were Earl Becraft Jr., Gene Whiteman and Eric Becraft, all grandsons. Robert Reese, Gene Reese and Charles Carr. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy. Burrier Funeral Home, Liberty Road, Winfield, was in charge of arrangements.
