SADIE MARY BAYCROFT (published on August 15, 2007)

SADIE MARY BAYCROFT Sadie Baycroft went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 3, 2007, at Shepherd Village, Toronto, Ontario. Sadie was born July 18, 1911 near Nut Mountain, Saskatchewan to Philip and Susan (Wollman) Bollman. She attended Canadian Pentecostal Bible College in Winnipeg and went into ministry with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Sadie married Rev. George Baycroft on February 8, 1940 and together they ministered in the Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba districts. Sadie worked at Central Park Lodge in Winnipeg for many years. Sadie moved to Shepherd Village, Toronto in 1998 to be near her daughter. She will always be remembered as one whose priorities in life were her dedication to Jesus Christ, loving and caring for her family and serving others. Sadie is lovingly remembered by her children, Bill and Nancy Baycroft of Houston, Texas and Myrna and David Loyst of Pickering, Ontario; her grandchildren, Scott Loyst and Amy Tayles-Loyst, Chris Loyst, Alixandra Baycroft and Taylor Baycroft, and by her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Bollman and Grace Newsham, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Sadie was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband George Baycroft (1983); her sisters, Millie Fenton, Bertha Mack and Mina Finch; her brothers, David, Wesley and Stanley Bollman; her brothers-in-law, Jim Fenton, John Mack, Bob Finch, Langman Baycroft and Jack Newsham, and sisters-in-law, Sally Bollman, Mary Baycroft and Vi Baycroft. Funeral service was held August 10 in Toronto. A Memorial Service will be held in Winnipeg at Calvary Temple in the Buntain Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2007. Private interment will be at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
