HUGH PERSHING BEECROFT, 65, of Memphis, retired station manager with Delta Air Lines, Inc., where he worked for 40 years, died at 1:30 a.m. yesterday at Baptist Hospital. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. Mr. Beecroft was a member of Colonial Park United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Bethana Morgan Beecroft; a son, Thomas Roy Beecroft of Lenexa, Kansas; two brothers, James Beecroft of Olive Branch, Miss., and F.W. Beecroft Jr. of East Point, Ga., and a granddaughter. The family requests any memorial be sent ot the charity of the donor's choice. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 10-17-1984)
