On Sept 14, 1967 William R. of Old Hanover Road, Reisterstown, beloved husband of Emma M. Becraft and devoted father of Mrs. Hazel V. Shipley and the late Mrs. Rhonda R. Grover and brother of Mrs. Georgia Smith.

Funeral from the Haight Funeral Home, Rt. 32 near Eldersburg Sykesville on Sunday at 2pm. Interment at New Oakland Cemetery.

William R. Becraft, retired carpenter and a former resident of the Oakland Mills area, died Thursday, Sept 14, at his home on the Old Hanover Road, Reisterstown. He was 88.

Son of the late Edward and Elizabeth White Becraft, he is survived by hsi widow, Mrs. Emma M. Becraft, a daughter, Mrs. hazel V. Shipley, Reisterstown, a daughter, Mrs. Rhonda R. Groves preceded him in death.

Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Sunday at 2pm at the Haight Funeral Home, Rt.32 Sykesville, Md. The Rev Pablo Tesdorn, pastor of Oakland Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the New Oakland Cemetery.
