Hello Cousins: I just found where our ancestor Thomas Becraft is
buried in Charleston SC. He died in the Civil War on Oct 8, 1864 as
a prisoner of war...I found a URL which shows him as Craft, J. B. -
Private, Co. C, 24th Ky Infantry... listed under Additional Union
Soldier Deaths at Charleston, SC As Prisoners of War....I have
written to a Ed Boots who has this web site to correct this and to
see if this is what is listed in Charleston. Thomas Becraft was
buried in what is called Charleston Race Course Cemetery and was
reinterred at the Beaufort National Cemetery, SC If interested in
