Mrs. Orpha Belle Evans, 69, of West Prairie St., passed away at the McDonald hospital. The deceased was born in St. Mary's Ohio, February 22,1874, the daughter of Thomas and Martha Becraft, and was married to John Evans, July 15, 1915 in the courthouse in Warsaw. Surviving relatives, children from a previous marriage, are three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Slusser, Huntington, Mrs. Claude Grey, Chicago, Miss Julia Williamson of Ohio; one son, Charles Williamson, Huntington; one brother, Hudson Becraft of Ft. Wayne; two sisters, Mrs. John Lee, Warsaw, and Mrs. Harry Thompson, Warsaw; thirteen grand children and four great grandchildren. Burial will be made in Oakwood cemetary.
