Mrs. Lucinda W. Burdette

Mrs. Lucinda W. Burdette, widow of Perry G. Burdette, and daughter of the late James and Margaret Becraft, died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Burdette, near Clagettsville, on Wednesday morning at 6:30 o'clock. Her age was 84 years. Se is survived by the following children: Wm. H. Burdette, Clagettsville; John J. Burdette, near Damascus; R. Hayes Burdette, Vernon Burdette, Clagettsville; Arthur Burdette, Poplar Springs, Robert G. Burdette, Long Corner; Amos G. Burdette, near Damascus and Mrs. Maggie P. Pickett, near Long Corner. One half-brother, Payton Burdette [should be Becraft, RJB], Baltimore, also survives.

The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Howard chapel. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. J.B. Beall, Inc.., funeral directors.
