Roy is listed as LeRoy Truman Becraft in one article and as Truman LeRoy Becraft in another article. According to the 1942 article, Roy, of Marshall MO., first went to the Philippines in 1939 in the foreign service. I have another undated article about his return as an Army Corporal to the US, after 4 years as a prisoner of the Japanese. It says he went to the Philippines on Nov 16, 1939. After the war, he went into the US Air Force. My Dad says Roy had at least one daughter because Roy attended her wedding in southern CA.. According to my Dad, Roy married a woman in the Philippines. I have a picture of him with a younger Filipino woman and her kids. I don't think they were his, biologically. My Dad said Roy died in the Philippines.
