James Kirkwood BeCRAFT
"A light in our lives has gone, but there is now a special star in the heavens."
James Kirkwood BeCraft, 73, of Wytheville, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Carrington Place in Wytheville. He was born on December 11, 1938, in Wytheville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Marron BeCraft and Mazie Elizabeth Turner BeCraft; and his wife, Ethel Phillippi BeCraft.
He is survived by his brothers, Howard R. Turner, of Birdsboro, Pa., and Charles David and Patricia BeCraft, of Wytheville. He is also survived by daughters, Debra BeCraft Wright and Thomas D. Wright, of Pulaski, and Connie Scott Rosenbaum, of Charlottesville; grandchildren, Kelly (Nikki) Lineberry Walker and Tommy, of King, N.C., Brittany Jordon, Renee Wright and Josh Wright, all of Pulaski, and Alan Dale Rosenbaum, of Charlottesville; great- grandchildren, Kourtney Walker, Ethan Styles, Chloe Walker, and his soon-to-be born namesake, Lilly James Walker, all of King, N.C., and Elizabeth and David Wright, of Pulaski; along with special friends, Ann Correll, Patsy Kincer, Butch Grubb and Bob Roberts.
Per the deceased's request, he will be cremated and there will be no public visitation. Visitors may come to the home of Thomas and Debra Wright at 2221 Pleasant Hill Drive, Pulaski, or to the home of Dave and Patricia BeCraft at 230 Pleasant View Drive, Wytheville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the .
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. James McConnell, Dr. Turski, the nursing staff on Unit C at Carrington Place and the staff of Hospice of Southwest Virginia, for their loving care.
