• Obituary

Fred Becraft, assistant postmaster at Dowagiac for several years past, died at his home in that city Monday afternoon, aged forty-seven years, death resulting after a long illness from pneumonia. Deceased was a son of J.O. Becraft and was well known by a host of friends who appreciated his many excellent qualities and held him in high esteem.
