Charlie Becroft, a Montgomery county, Md., produce merchant, awoke at his home in Burtonsville yesterday morning about the most surprised man who ever concluded a two days' visit in the neighboring city of Washington. Seated in a vehicle which he declares he never saw before, he opened his eyes and viewed one of the most wornout horses and rickety buggies ever seen in Burtonsville.

Albert E. Harney, 27 years old, of Suitland, Md., was in Gallinger Hospital yesterday under police guard on a charge of driving while drunk as the result of an automobile crash at Thirty-fourth and M streets northwest, which resulted in injury to Harney and Charles Becraft, 55 years old, of Beltsville, Md.
