Barbara Ann DAgostino, 81, of Queensbury, NY, and formerly of New Hartford, died October 19, 2009, at home surrounded by her family. The funeral will be on Saturday at 8:45 AM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford, and at 9:30 at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours are on Friday (today) from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1502 N.W. 9th Ave., Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136-1494.

October 19, 2009 Barbara Ann D'Agostino, 81, of Queensbury, NY and formerly of New Hartford, died October 19, 2009 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 28, 1928 in Utica, a daughter of the late Clifford and Evelyn M. Cavanaugh Becraft and graduated from Utica Free Academy. She married Joseph A. D'Agostino, July 23, 1954. He died December 17, 1998. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother throughout her life. In later years she enjoyed her time as a library volunteer and then her employment as a library aide at the New Hartford Public Library. She was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Church. She and her husband were avid golfers and were active members of the Skenandoa Golf Club where they enjoyed golfing with family and friends and participating in various club activities. Barbara was a member of the Ladies 9 Hole League. She also loved her time spent during the summers in the Adirondacks on Fourth Lake with her family. Barbara is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Paul Bowe of Cicero, NY; a daughter, Dulcy Rabbia of North Syracuse; and a son, Dr. Joseph A. D'Agostino Jr. of Queensbury, NY; seven beloved grandchildren, Alexandra and Emily Bowe, Thomas Rabbia, Diana Rabbia Hinton, Matthew Rabbia, Sara Rabbia Johnson and Michael Rabbia; five great-grandchildren, Kailee Marie, Krista James, Olivia Ann, Norah Ann and Harley Daniel; two brothers and sisters-in-law, C. Gary (Irene Vetrano) Becraft, Central Square and P. Michael (Carolyn Howard) Becraft of Burke, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy J. White in 2008. The funeral will be on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated.
