Albert Augusta Becraft, 88, of Mt. Airy

Albert Augusta Becraft, 88, of Plainview Avenue, Mt. Airy, died Wednesday at a hospital.

He was born in Frederick County, the sone of the late John and Elizabeth Harrington Becraft.

He was a veteran of World War I. He was a retired employee of the B&O railroad as a flagman and maintenance of the way.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frances (Walter) Franklin of Mt. Airy; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Friends may call at the Burrier Funeral Home, Liberty Road in Winfield, 2-4 and 7-9pm today. Funeral services wil be held at the funeral home 10 am Saturday with the Rev. Wallace A. Lusk, pastor of the Mt. Airy Full Gospel Church officiating.

Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Mt. Airy.
