In Macomb County, Mich., Isaiah S. Becraft married Miss Lydia, daughter of James Wallace, and of Scotch descent. Two children were born of this marriage...Of his first marriage, Mr. [Julius] Becraft, as above stated, became the father of two children. Julius O., one of the children born to the first union, was reared in Dowagiac.

Death Notes:
According to the Biography of Julius O., he was the son of Lydia and Isaiah. However, the census of 1850 shows Isaiah married to Lydia's sister and Julius is only a few months old.
It is also interesting that Julia Wallace is listed in the household as well. Three Wallace sisters, what was the relationship Israel had with the Wallace family?
