INDIANAPOLIS-Lena M. (Taylor) Doan, 90, died at the Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis, Sunday.
The funeral will be at the Hall-Baker Funeral Home, 339 E. Main St., Plainfield, Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Sparks Cemetery, Pittsboro, Ind.
Visitation is tonight from 3 to 8 at the funeral home.
She was born on March 6, 1908, in Plainfield, to Harry M. and Grace (Moon) Taylor. She married Herman Doan and he preceded her in death in 1975.
Doan was a homemaker.
Surviving are five sons, Herman Doan Jr., Washington; Melvin Doan, Greenwood; Phillip Doan, Indianapolis; Charles Doan, Orlando, Fla. and Richard Doan, Pebbles Valley, Ariz.; two daughters, Phyliss Haynes, Indianapolis and Alice McKenney, Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Charles Taylor, Beech Grove; four sisters, Leona Muncy, Plainfield; Bessie Wooldridge, Indianapolis; Hortence Becroft , Rushville and Barbara Brooks, Seymour; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. ; (Jan. 2, 1999)

Hortense M. Becraft, 82 of Rushville, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Major Hospital.
Born Aug. 13, 1927, in Plainfield, she was the daughter of Harry and Grace (Moon) Taylor. She married Charles W. Becraft on May 24, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1989.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Laytart of Ohio, Sherry Hampton of Shelbyville and Charlene Shelby of Connersville; a sister, Barbara (husband, Wayne) Brooks of Seymour; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Becraft Jr.; a daughter, Patty; two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Moster Mortuary, 334 N. Main St. in Rushville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary, with Pastor Jerri Cadwallader officiating.
Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.
